The Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation was created in 1973 by a dedicated group of community leaders who were determined to lend crucial fundraising support to the programs and services that benefit Mount Sinai Hospital's patients and their families.

In 2005, our signature event - the Sinai Rally, was established to raise much needed funds in support of respiratory care at Mount Sinai Hospital.  Our hospital is a 107-bed McGill University affiliated teaching institution offering one of the most comprehensive and advanced respiratory disease treatment centers in the province.  We help patients living with a variety of respiratory illnesses breathe easier thanks to a wide range of interventions and treatments.  Time and again our patients and their families have said that it was the high quality of care as well as the kind and attentive staff at Mount Sinai that has made all of the difference in their lives.
